Troy Aikman Made His Opinion On NBA Players Very Clear

ESPN color commentator Troy Aikman went on a brief rant about flopping during Monday night's game between the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints.
During the opening drive of the game, Saints defensive back Ugo Amadi flopped on a crucial third-and-goal situation. That led to Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks getting wide-open for an easy touchdown catch. Unsurprisingly, Aikman questioned Amadi's decision to flop in the red zone.
"Here's another look on that touchdown throw to Dontayvion Wicks. And you are going to see as he comes off the line, Ugo Amadi, he just does a flop," Aikman said. "He thinks he's getting picked. He's gonna try to sell it to draw the flag. He jumps up and tries to get the call from the official. Like you said Russell (Yurk), it wasn't a penalty anyway. But man, I haven't seen a flop quite like that in the NFL."
A few moments later, Aikman felt the need to take a shot at the NBA.
"Not in this sport no," Aikman continued. "Christmas is coming up. NBA is gonna be all over the tube. You know, they have got that move mastered."
Aikman's broadcast partner, Joe Buck, put the finishing touches on this discussion by throwing some shade at other sports.
"Soccer, you name it," Buck added. "But in this brand of football, you don't typically see that."

Most sports fans are applauding Aikman and Buck for being anti-flopping, and rightfully so. There's no room in the NFL for players to be flopping all over the field.
"NBA catching strays. Albeit, well deserved ones," one fan wrote on X.
"One of the few times i actually enjoyed what they were saying during the broadcast," another fan said.
The only people who didn't appreciate these comments from Aikman are either NBA players or coaches.
Its going to be tough for Aikman to have a better rant this regular season, especially since there are only two weeks left.
Aikman and Buck will be back in the broadcast booth on Dec. 30 to call an NFC matchup between the Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers.
