In the 1980s, Missy Hyatt gained prominence as a valet, managing notable wrestlers such as Ric Flair, Sting, and Scott Steiner.

In a recent interview with “Wrestling Shoot Interviews,” Hyatt discussed her career and explained her decision not to pursue wrestling herself. She also mentioned an offer from The Fabulous Moolah to train her in 1990.

She said, "She's like, 'You need to come and let me train you to work.' And I was like, 'No, I'm too old for that.' And then I realized just what I said, and this was before she did the thing with Mae Young and everything."

Hyatt continued, "We were just told to go out there and fight, and we did, and Dark Journey beat my a** every night for a couple of years. Now I'm paying for it, 'cause I need two new shoulders, they want to put a plate and screws in my neck, and I have bad sciatica and things like that. And people want to say wrestling's fake? It wasn't for me.”

In a recent interview with the “Under the Ring” podcast, Je'Von Evans discussed his relationship with NXT Champion Trick Williams and how they exchange advice with each other.

Evans, Shawn Spears, and Ethan Page will challenge Williams at NXT Heatwave 2024.

Evans said, "Well yeah, that's my brother. For my tryout, I went to him and shook his hand, I thought he didn't know who I was. He was like, 'I know who you are bro, just do you. Turn up.' Ever since then, it's honestly been that we're close. I ask him for advice, he asks me for advice. His reign has been good to me, he's been fighting for that title. Once he won it, everyone was happy in the back. I gave him a hug and I was like, 'Hey, it's your time.' He said, 'No, it's your time or your time about to come.' I said, 'It's not about me right now, I want you to enjoy this because once I get it..' [laughs]”
