In a recent series of tweets, Missa Kate announced her departure from the NWA, expressing that she is now a free agent.

Kate wrote, "These Past 2 Years Have Been Unforgettable…I Can Sit Here & Write A List Of Everyone Who Has Helped Me/Made Me Better Along the Way, But That's Too Much Work For Me That I Don't Feel Like Doing Right Now ….[& You Know Who You Are]. I'm Not Gonna Write A Long Sappy Post, So Instead I'll Just Say This…I'm Forever Appreciative Of The Endless Moments, Memories & Lessons Made Along The Way Thank You @nwa…Now Let's Get Weird."

Fightful Select is reporting TNA Wrestling has expressed interest in signing Kate. Sources indicate that her departure from NWA was amicable, and her last appearance for the company was in January.

Kate had previously worked for AEW during the Dark and Dark: Elevation days.

NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Joe Alonzo also took to Twitter to announce his departure from the company, making him the second wrestler to do so following Missa Kate’s announcement.

Alonzo tweeted, "As of Today, I am no longer "Mr. NWA"… It has been a fun ride and I would like to thank the @NWA and @Billy for trusting in what I can produce. But now it is time for "Joe to worry about Joe""
