Kelly Stafford Posts Video Of Matthew Stafford After Wild Comments

Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly, has been dominating NFL headlines this week because of comments she made on a podcast. Let's just say she shared some information that should've never seen the light of day.

During an appearance on the "Off the Vine" podcast, Kelly revealed that she used to date Matthew's backup at Georgia simply to get him jealous. That eventually led to them dating.

"At first, I hated him. I loved him. I dated the backup to [expletive] him off, which worked," Kelly said. "He was the bad boy too like Matthew's so sweet and Southern gentleman and all that stuff and the backup was the complete opposite. And it upset him.

"They lived in the same dorm room because athletes lived in the same dorm room. He would see my car there. At one point he waited and followed me into the car. I was like, 'This is amazing, it's working.' I was like, 'Get out of my car.' He was like, 'He's not right for you.' I was like, 'What? You can't tell me that.'"

NFL fans immediately criticized Kelly for telling this story on a podcast. It's the type of story that should be kept private.

Kelly hasn't addressed all the backlash she's getting on social media. She did, however, post a video of Matthew on her Instagram Story.

In the video that Kelly shared this Friday, Matthew lifted up one of their daughters so he can give her a hug. Her caption read, "Performance one complete."

We'd have to imagine Kelly's aware of what's being said on social media. Maybe she's just unbothered by it.

Besides, Matthew and Kelly's relationship seems to be strong despite what happened years ago in college.
