A sizable earthquake struck on Sunday morning, according to reports.
The United States has been hit by several earthquakes recently. Northern California was hit by a big one in early December, hitting more than 7.0 on the richter scale. Elsewhere, Alaska has been hit by multiple quakes, along with several states in the South and Midwest regions.
Sunday morning, Mexico was hit by a sizable one.
A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck in Southwest Mexico on Sunday morning, according to reports.
The U.S. Geological Survey announced the earthquake on Sunday morning. At this point, no significant damage or injuries are reported.

The tremor was about five miles from Coalcoman de Vazquez Pallares, a municipality of around 20,000 people about 372 miles west of the capital Mexico City. The quake struck at a depth of 53 miles.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on social media platform X that the national emergency services had reported "there are no new developments and are initiating review protocols" in Coalcoman.
Mexico has been home to some sizable, deadly earthquakes over the years.
In 1985, the country was hit by an 8.1 magnitude earthquake, killing thousands of people. In 2017, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck, killing 369 people.
