Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

As per usual on a pay-per-view day, we’re keeping it simple here. Since WWE Bad Blood 2024 will take place tonight at 6 p.m. ET on Peacock and the WWE Network, before that goes down, we still have time for one final round of predictions.

My question for you today is “Who do you think will win at WWE Bad Blood 2024?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answers…

Hell in a Cell Match: CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

It has to be CM Punk. Not only does he need to get a more definitive victory after the strap match, but he’s the one who can be set up to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at either Crown Jewel or Survivor Series. McIntyre is also the heel, so it’s only natural for him to come up short in the grand finale. That doesn’t always happen, nor should it be a 100% guarantee every time that every feud goes in that direction, but I still think that’s how it should go.

Singles Match for the Women’s World Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

Very much in the same regard, I think it’s time to just end this program and give the title back to Rhea Ripley. With Dominik Mysterio hanging from a shark cage, he can’t interfere, or, he’ll drop something intended for Liv Morgan, only for Ripley to gain access to it instead or kick it out of the ring.

Stalling even longer is a waste of time. Maybe they don’t have anything else, but you can’t just run this on repeat until WrestleMania. If there isn’t a single person ready to challenge Ripley next for the title (and, mind you, I don’t think anyone has been properly set up to do that, so I’m worried that’s the case), that’s a flaw on WWE’s part, not on the talent. Do better and push more people and develop more characters so this isn’t a two-pony show.

In any case, Morgan holding the title longer is nothing but a delay tactic, and that’s already happened long enough.

Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor

Likewise, I think it’s time to end this storyline. While it hasn’t gone on 9 months or anything, I do think Priest and Balor don’t have the legs to go too much further. Maybe they can stretch it out to Crown Jewel and have some sort of gimmick match like a “Street Trash” Fight or whatever, in which case, Balor probably wins, but I’d probably just book Priest going over and moving on if I were on WWE Creative.

Singles Match for the WWE Women’s Championship: Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley

Snoooooze. The only thing interesting that can happen here is if outside interference dictates the win. Either Naomi screws over Bayley or Tiffany Stratton cashes in.

The downside to the Naomi scenario is that Jax has no other opponents worth seeing her fight going forward unless Charlotte Flair returns or Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill stop paying attention to the tag team division. Stratton cashing in has no downside in my mind, so that’s what I’m hoping for, but I’m starting to think it might be wishful thinking.

Ultimately, I’m picking Jax to retain. Whether she leaves the arena with the belt or not, we’ll see.

Tag Team Match: Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu)

If The Rock returns, then obviously, The Bloodline win due to his (and I’m assuming Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa) interference. Maybe some wires get crossed with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. I’d rather Cody not take a pin if that does happen, as I think Roman’s the one who would need to eat a loss to put over Sikoa, rather than for the champion to look weak.

Then again, The Rock could still come out after the match, having a beat down to end the show and still accomplish mostly everything, just with the babyfaces going over. I could see that scenario playing out much more, probably with Jacob Fatu staring up at the lights.

Let’s go with Rhodes and Reigns for the winners, but with them both getting laid out to end the show.

What do you think? Drop your thoughts below!
