Vince McMahon departed from WWE following a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant against him, the company, and former WWE executive John Laurinaitis.

The lawsuit alleged McMahon’s involvement in sex trafficking, unauthorized sharing of naked photos and explicit videos of Grant, and other misconduct.

Grant agreed to a request by the US Attorney’s Office to halt the lawsuit pending a non-public investigation. The US Attorney for the Southern District of New York had launched a criminal investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct and sex trafficking against McMahon that is ongoing.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked if anyone had assumed McMahon’s office at the WWE Headquarters. Meltzer responded negatively, stating that the giant T-Rex skull was still in McMahon’s office.

Meltzer said, "Nobody. It’s empty, still. The last I heard it was [T-Rex skull], but I wouldn't know. I don’t know if they’ve taken stuff out of there. At least as of a couple of weeks ago, they had not given anyone the office."

Furthermore, Tom Carlucci, who has been working for Vince McMahon since 1987, disclosed that McMahon is not permitted at the new WWE Headquarters during an episode of “The Insiders” podcast hosted by Conrad Thompson.
