On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE/TNA Hall of Famer Billy Ray addressed the SmackDown debut of Jacob Fatu. He said,

“That kid looked like a star on Friday night. I saw shades of Umaga in Jacob Fatu on Friday night, just in his body English. The way he throws his clothesline, the way he finishes off some of his movement, really reminds me a lot of his uncle … The sky is the limit.”

Fatu joined WWE earlier this year and debuted by attacking Randy Orton, Kevin Owens and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

Fatu is a former Major League Wrestling World Champion. His 819-day reign with the title remains a record to this day.

Fatu is the latest entry into The Bloodline which has seen Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa join the ranks in 2024 alone.
