Ava Says Je'Von Evans Is Still Not Cleared To Compete On WWE NXT
Today at 11:01 PM
Je’Von Evans remains sidelined due to a jaw injury, as Ava said that he was not cleared to compete on WWE NXT.
Ethan Page viciously attacked Evans on the December 17th episode of NXT and made him bleed from the mouth. Due to the attack, Evans’ jaw was wired shut. Page then bloodied Evans again on the January 14th episode of NXT. He tried to save Dante Chen from Page, and Page punched him in the mouth.
In a backstage segment on the January 21st episode of NXT, Je’Von Evans told general manager Ava that he wanted to face Page, but she said that his jaw was still broken, and he was anything but cleared. Cedric Alexander then offered to face Page instead.
Evans last wrestled on NXT television on the December 10th episode, where he beat Wes Lee. He competed at the live event on December 17th, and he was in a battle royal at the live event on January 17th.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Je’Von Evans will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
