During a recent appearance on the “Fanrun Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton lavished praise on Kenny Omega, who recently returned to AEW following a lengthy episode of diverticulitis.

Morton said, "That's worth the ticket price. He is absolutely amazing. He's one of the guys that I look at that set the new trend in professional wrestling. He takes it beyond means in a wrestling ring. He steps up."

Omega defeated Brian Cage last week on AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage.

Mike Santana defeated Josh Alexander in an ‘I Quit’ match last Sunday at TNA Genesis 2025.

Taking to Twitter, Santana noted that when he left AEW, someone told him he could "Say goodbye to wrestling in packed arenas."

Santana wrote, "True story. When I got my release, someone told me to 'Say goodbye to wrestling in packed arenas…' I legit laughed it off and said WATCH ME! Jokes on you papi. 🤭😉 #TNA"

Santana returned to TNA in April 2024 after parting ways with AEW.

And finally, during a recent edition of “The Claw” podcast, The Von Erichs (Ross and Marshall Von Erich) expressed their desire to compete for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Titles in NJPW and the All Asia Tag Team Championships in AJPW.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

Ross Von Erich on their hopes of winning the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Titles: "Oh, man. That would obviously be a huge title to hold. If not now, then at some point. But yeah, that'd be massive. We'd enjoy doing that."

Marshall Von Erich on wanting to win the All Asia Tag Team Championships: "Another set of belts that we've had our eyes on are, I don't want to butcher the name, but Dad and Uncle Dave held them, I don't know if it was Uncle Kerry with them, but it was the All Japan belts. Ross and I always thought it would be cool to win belts in All Japan just for the history."
