Vince Russo Calls For Christian Forgiveness Of Hulk Hogan's Racist Remarks
Today at 02:41 AM
Vince Russo is hoping that people will turn the other cheek when it comes to Hulk Hogan and the controversial comments Hogan has made.
During this week’s RAW, CM Punk vowed to throw Hogan’s “dusty ass” over the top rope should Hogan enter the Royal Rumble and “kill Hulkamania.”
On a recent edition of the “Legion of RAW” podcast, Russo took issue with Punk’s comment about the two-time WWE Hall of Famer. He said,
"Punk bashing Hogan for a cheap pop is lame. That's just cheap, man. It really is cheap because, you know, coming right off of that, him saying that, he's gonna get a big pop—but why? Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
“We're Christian dudes, bro. We all f up, man. We all mess up. We are not perfect. We're gonna make mistakes in life. Hulk has made mistakes like everybody else, bro. There just comes a point, man, where you gotta cut somebody some slack, you know what I mean?"
Hogan’s ‘mistake’ saw the Hulkster make racist remarks, including being disgusted at the idea that “f***ing n*****s” would date his daughter.
Ironically, Hogan once sued Russo for defamation after WCW Bash at the Beach 2000, where Russo claimed that the “big bald son of a b****” had held talent down.
Hogan was booed during his appearance at WWE RAW on Netflix. Punk’s comments about the ‘dusty ass’ legend earned cheers from the crowd in Texas.
