Kaine Tomlinson Jr. needed just 37 seconds to silence the passionate Philly fans when he faced off against hometown favorite Pat Sullivan at the Wells Fargo Center.
The 24-year-old uncorked a monstrous overhand right that landed flush on the jaw of his opponent, who collapsed to the floor as groans echoed around the arena.
Sullivan's head bounced off the bottom rope before he lay motionless on the ground. Medical personnel immediately stormed the ring to check on the local fighter.
Tomlinson Jr. didn’t celebrate as his opponent remained on the floor for several scary minutes.
Thankfully, Sullivan was eventually able to sit up on his stool. The disorientated fighter could be heard asking his coaches to explain what had happened before he was escorted backstage to receive more medical attention.
"WOW! #INSANE," McGregor tweeted after seeing the epic knockout.
Many fight fans used his post to share their reactions to what they had just witnessed at BKFC KnuckleMania V.
One fan said: "Left me speechless! What a KO!"
"Man what a knock out," another added.
"That was brutal ! Unreal," a third fan commented.
Will Conor McGregor ever fight in BKFC?
McGregor hasn’t competed since breaking his leg during a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
Recently, the 36-year-old has been linked with a $500 million boxing exhibition against Logan Paul.
UFC boss Dana White has shut down that fight, so McGregor is now focused on making his return to the Octagon in 2025.
However, he’s also go one eye on BKFC. ‘Mystic Mac’ recently predicted that he will one day make a surprise debut in the bare-knuckle fight league he part owns.
“One of these days, you'll just hear my music come onto this stage in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, and I'll have my fist wrapped with no gloves for a fight, out of nowhere,” McGregor said.
"No promotion. No promo. No nothing. Just fighting a random fight on the card.
“That could be what the future holds."
