Islam Makhachev wants a new challenge for his next fight, as he earmarked Justin Gaethje as a possible target. Makhachev submitted Renato Moicano in the first round to retain his UFC Lightweight Title at UFC 311, his fourth defense. He was set to face Arman Tsarukyan initially, but Moicano got the fight after Arman pulled out with a back injury. There has been speculation over Islam’s next move.
