
AEW Collision Draws Highest Viewership In Months With Two-Night 'Slam Dunk' Special

AEW aired AEW Collision on both Saturday, March 22nd, and Sunday, March 23rd, for a two-night Slam Dunk special that aired after coverage of the NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament.
Wrestlenomics reports that the March 22nd episode of AEW Collision drew 554,000 viewers and a 0.20 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. Collision was preempted, and it had the lead-in from the Gonzaga vs. Houston college basketball game. The post-show lasted six minutes and averaged over 3,000,000 viewers and a 1.04 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
Saturday’s numbers marked Collision’s highest since December 21, when the show had a lead-in from a College Football Playoff game.
The March 23rd episode of AEW Collision drew 584,000 viewers on cable television and a 0.22 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The show was also preempted, and it had a lead-in from the New Mexico State vs. Michigan State college basketball game. The game’s post-show lasted six minutes and averaged nearly 3,000,000 viewers and a 0.86 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
Sunday’s numbers marked Collision’s highest total viewership since December 21, 2024, and its highest demographic rating since July 2023.
These numbers do not include the Max viewership; Collision is simulcast on Max.
