Dodgers are up three games to one in the series, with Jack Flaherty on the mound in Game 5 on Friday with a chance to win the National League pennant.

The final Citi Field game in New York of the National League Championship Series has a chance to be the final game of the series, with the Dodgers entering Friday up three games to one, only one win away from their fourth World Series appearance in eight years.

The Dodgers won Game 4 in blowout fashion on Thursday night, behind Mookie Betts' four hits and four runs driven in. On Friday, they send Jack Flaherty to the mound with a chance to win the pennant, three days after his 29th birthday.

Flaherty won Game 1 by pitching seven scoreless innings on Sunday at Dodger Stadium. He'll be on four days of rest on Friday for the seventh time this season, and second time since joining the Dodgers at the trade deadline. He had a 3.15 ERA in his six starts on four days rest during the regular season, with 40 strikeouts and six walks in 34⅓ innings.

The Mets will turn to left-hander David Peterson to start Game 5, though it will likely be an all-hands-on-deck situation with New York facing elimination. Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Kodai Senga, who allowed three runs among his 10 batters faced in Game 1, will also be available in relief in Game 5.

This is the second early start of the NLCS, with a 2:08 p.m. PT first pitch scheduled for Game 5 on Friday, televised on FS1.
