Hanna Cavinder Is Dating Star College QB (1:22)

Roughly an hour after it was revealed that Carson Beck will enter the transfer portal, conflicting reports about Ohio State's interest in the Georgia quarterback surfaced online.

Beck previously announced that he was declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft. Clearly, he has experienced a change of heart. On Thursday afternoon, Pete Nakos of On3 reported that Beck is entering the transfer portal. He then listed Ohio State, Texas Tech and Miami as possible suitors for the talented quarterback.

Not a single soul was surprised to see Miami mentioned as a player in the sweepstakes for Beck. His girlfriend, Hanna Cavinder, plays for the Miami women's basketball team. The same can't be said about Ohio State's rumored interest in Beck. Countless fans were shocked to see the Buckeyes mentioned in this conversation.

With that said, we may have to pump the brakes when talking about Ohio State as a suitor for Beck.

According to Jeremy Birmingham of DottingTheEyes, there's currently "zero chance" Ohio State will pursue Beck in the transfer portal.

Beck completed 64.7 percent of his passes this season for 3,485 yards with 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Coming into the year, he was considered a potential Day 1 prospect. His stock took a hit due to his inefficient play.

If Beck bounces back this fall, he'll help out his draft stock in a major way. Before he can dream about suiting up for an NFL team, he'll have to find a new school to play for.

Regardless of where Beck ends up, he won't be ready to throw until the spring. ESPN insider Pete Thamel believes the talented quarterback will be a full-go for summer camp.
