Micah Parsons Feuding With Former Cowboys Teammate On Social Media

Micah Parsons and one of his former Dallas Cowboys running mates are currently beefing.
Parsons has played four seasons with the Cowboys, all of them alongside defensive lineman DeMarcus Lawrence. Lawrence spent 11 seasons with Dallas, but was allowed to leave in free agency this offseason. On Thursday, he signed a three-year, $42 million deal ($18 million guaranteed) with the Seattle Seahawks.
All of this leads to our feud, which was ignited when Lawrence dissed his former team in his introductory interview with Seahawks podcaster Brian Nemhauser.
"Dallas is my home. I've made my home there, my family lives there. I'm forever gonna be there, but I know for sure I'm not gonna win a Super Bowl there. So, yeah. We here." Lawrence said.
Parsons, who often uses social media to drop his opinions on NFL topics, saw Lawrence's comment and couldn't let it go unanswered.
"This what rejection and envy look like! This some clown s---," he tweeted.
Not to be outdone, Lawrence fired back a return salvo at Parsons, taking a shot at his affinity for X/Twitter.
"Calling me a clown won't change the fact that I told the truth," Lawrence replied. "Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn't have left."
If you're scoring at home, both of these guys landed body blows. Parsons has a point that Lawrence might be stewing a little after the Cowboys allowed him to walk following 11 seasons with the organization.
On the flipside, Lawrence's criticism of the Cowboys is harsh, but fair. The team hasn't even made the NFC Championship Game, let alone the Super Bowl, in 29 years.
As for his diss toward Parsons, he's not the only person to poke fun at the All-Pro linebacker for his social media usage, though Lawrence must also take some responsibility for the Cowboys not winning more, given the fact he has also played for them the last four seasons.
