Kliff Kingsbury and the Washington Commanders are looking to inch closer to the postseason on Sunday night.
The Commanders, 10-5 on the year, are taking on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football in Week 17. The Commanders will clinch a playoff berth with a win over the Falcons on Sunday night. So far, so good for Dan Quinn's team, as Washington is leading Atlanta, 21-17, late in the fourth quarter.
It's been a big year for Kliff Kingsbury. The former college football and Arizona Cardinals head coach has worked his magic with No. 2 overall NFL Draft pick Jayden Daniels. The former LSU Tigers star is in contention for NFL Rookie of the Year. He's led Washington to double-digit wins in Year 1 and broke the NFL record for most rushing yards by a rookie quarterback, breaking Robert Griffin III's old mark.
