Hilarious Caitlin Clark Costume Is Going Viral Before Halloween

Now that she's one of the country's most popular athletes, many sports fans may have a Caitlin Clark costume lined up for Halloween. They'll have a hard time topping someone's effort from earlier this year.
During the NCAA tournament in March, a fan dressed in a ponytail and Iowa jersey looked just like Clark. She pretended to dribble her partner, who crouched down and bounced up and down like a basketball while dressed in all orange.
The couple, Orly and Jeremy, posted the video on their TikTok seven months ago, but it went viral on X when DraftKings misinterpreted it as a Halloween costume.

And no, that's not actually Caitlin Clark. Orly refers to herself as "Fakelin" due to her striking resemblance to the WNBA superstar. Plenty of viewers needed a moment to differentiate her from the NCAA's all-time scoring leader.
"I watched this like three times before I realized it wasn't Caitlin Clark," a TikTok user commented.
Orly has posted numerous videos about the star point guard. She took pictures with fans (not all of whom realized she was just a look-alike) when attending this year's Final Four.
Clark was even asked about "Fakelin" during the WNBA Draft's red carpet event.
"I haven't met her, but she was in Albany at our games. My little brother took a picture with her, so that was pretty funny," Clark said, adding that she'll "hopefully" meet her doppelganger one day.
The following month, Clark high-fived Orly courtside at an Indiana Fever game.
It wouldn't take much effort for Orly to bring out her Clark costume for Halloween. Maybe Jeremy would object to being a basketball again, though.
