Ferland Mendy extends Real Madrid contract until 2027

Ferland Mendy has extended his contract at Real Madrid for three more years. The 29-year-old left-back, who joined for an initial €48million (£41m/$51.6m) from Lyon in 2019, is now tied down at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2027. The deal has been agreed for some time and while the club has yet to officially announce it, head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed on Monday that everything was agreed. “We are very happy with him, he has renewed his contract,” Ancelotti said.
