Entire NFL Team Accused Of 'Quitting' On 2024 Season

An entire NFL team has been accused of "quitting" on the 2024 regular season.
It's getting ugly in New York this year. The Jets entered the 2024 season with not only playoff hopes, but Super Bowl aspirations. Aaron Rodgers was healthy, the offense was equipped with talented skill players like Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson, and the defense seemed up to form. But ever since Week 1, it's been a full-blown disaster for the Jets.
New York is 3-8 on the season. The AFC East franchise has fired its head coach in Robert Saleh and its general manager in Joe Douglas. Now, the Jets are being accused of "quitting" on the 2024 regular season.
It's that bad.
CBS NFL insider Pete Prisco sounded off on the Jets on Sunday morning's pregame show.
"[The Jets] don't tackle, they quit on tape, they're lazy... it's just not a good football team," he said.

According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, some big changes could be coming to the Jets, including a possible Aaron Rodgers roster move.
From her report:
I'm told no decisions have been made yet, but it appears increasingly likely that the four-time MVP, who is banged up, could be placed on injured reserve or possibly benched over the next few weeks, signaling the end of his disastrous time with the Jets. Some around the league say they won't be surprised if Rodgers is cut in-season. As for Rodgers, his relationship with the owner has been strained for months — that's not a secret in the building or the locker room. At this point, after conversations with sources with the team and around the league, my understanding is that Rodgers still wants to play in 2025, just not for the New York Jets.
The Jets, 3-8 on the year, are off this weekend, before taking on the Seahawks in Week 13.
Kickoff between the Jets and the Seahawks is scheduled for 1 p.m. E.T. on Sunday, Dec. 1.
