Top 5 Most Annoying Fan Bases In The NFL (1:08)

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels practiced on Thursday but not in a full capacity.

Like Wednesday, Daniels was a limited participant in practice as he continues to recover from a rib injury. Despite being limited, he's still expected to play on Sunday against the New York Giants.

He hardly practiced last week and he was still good enough to play against the Chicago Bears and launch the game-winning Hail Mary as time expired.

Daniels is having a fantastic rookie campaign, completing 71.8% of his passes for 1,736 yards through the air, seven touchdowns, and only two interceptions. He's a strong contender, if not the top one, to win the NFL Rookie of the Year award at the end of the season.

He was selected second overall by the Commanders in the 2024 NFL Draft, directly after the Bears took Caleb Williams.

He's helped the Commanders get to a 6-2 record, good for first in the NFC East. If the playoffs started today, they'd host a playoff game at home.

It's been a long time since Commanders fans have felt good about their team but the vibes are through the roof right now. If the Commanders can beat the Giants on Sunday, they'd be 7-2 heading into their next game against the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers on November 10.

That game will be a big test for Daniels since the Steelers boast one of the top defenses in the league. After that, they'll play the Philadelphia Eagles, who are hot on their heels before hosting the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Titans.

Their schedule down the stretch is manageable but all that matters is a W.

Kickoff for Sunday's Commanders-Giants game will be at 1 p.m. ET.
