Barstool Sports Is Collaborating With Bryce Underwood On Black Friday

Bryce Underwood has yet to take a snap in Ann Arbor but the five-star Michigan QB is already making some big NIL moves.
This week, Barstool Sports founder and UM alum Dave Portnoy revealed on the "Barstool College Football Show" that his platform will be doing a collaboration with the Wolverines' prized recruit for Black Friday.
"Black Friday, we have a Bryce Underwood-Barstool collab coming out in the store with him, proceeds going to Bryce Underwood. So be on the lookout for that," Portnoy said.
Underwood, the top player in the 2025 class, recently flipped his commitment from LSU to Michigan after a months-long push from Big Blue that included massive financial incentives and recruiting pitches from the likes of Tom Brady and Portnoy himself.

"I got a call from the Michigan football team," Portnoy explained. "They said, 'Hey, there's this donor who wants to talk to you. I said that I'm doing this [landing Underwood] by myself and I don't need to talk to anybody. And they said, 'Please, this woman is a big fan of Barstool and you; she'd love to talk to you. Her name is Jolin."
"She said, 'I never want to live [the Brady Hoke] era ever again. I can't stomach waking up on a Saturday knowing we're not the best team on the field," he continued. "Jolin said on that first call, 'I needed somebody from Michigan to step up and show they cared as much as I did.' And then it was like the mega powers united."
Underwood is widely-considered the best QB in the nation and has the potential to be the next great signal-caller at the college level and beyond.
The Belleville, MI stands around 6-foot-4, 205-pounds as a senior in high school and reminds some scouts of Texas Longhorns legend and NFL Rookie of the Year Vince Young.
Quarterback has clearly been a hole this season for the Wolverines after J.J. McCarthy's departure to the pros and it didn't take long for coach Sherrone Moore (and Michigan's supporting apparatus) to find a way to fix it.
Not a bad way to head into rivalry week.
