Fightful Select has provided an update on the status of wrestling free agents Donovan Dijak and Ricochet.

Ricochet’s WWE contract expired on July 1, making him a free agent.

According to the report, there were no discussions within AEW regarding the utilization of Dijak or Ricochet at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024, which took place on June 30.

Dijak, whose WWE contract expired on June 28, was in attendance at Sunday’s pay-per-view event and reportedly backstage at the UBS Arena in Long Island, NY.

AEW invited Dijak to visit, but there were no discussions about using Ricochet as his WWE contract had yet to expire.

Rumors are circulating that Ricochet may be signing with AEW shortly.
