Several NXT Superstars Establish Heel & Face Status On This Week's Episode

While you can look at someone like Bayley and Roxanne Perez and know full well which one is the villain of that feud, with certain other Superstars, WWE has been playing loose with heel and face dynamics over the past few months.
Since I know people are obsessed over heel and face turns (case in point this list that gets updated all the time), I figured I would give some notes to some interesting things that happened on tonight’s episode to keep some people informed of where a few wrestlers are currently aligned.
— Izzi Dame helped Tony D’Angelo defeat Ridge Holland by nailing Holland in the face with a kick. Dame twice reiterated that they’re now “even” and this once again puts her in opposition with Shawn Spears and his crew. That seems about as clear of an indication that she’s babyface-leaning going forward.

— Lexis King was tempted all throughout his Heritage Cup match with Charlie Dempsey to use brass knuckles. Eventually, to secure the victory, King low-blowed Dempsey with a kick behind him in an angle the referee couldn’t see. After all that grandstanding about wanting to prove he’s a changed man, King reverted back to his heel ways. Whether that means Dempsey and the No Quarter Catch Crew will be booked as babyfaces going forward or just adversaries but also heels remains to be seen.

— If you had any reservations about whether or not Tyson DuPont and Tyriek Igwe are now heels, they are firmly standing alongside Wes Lee as opposition to Trick Williams.
That's going to leave a mark! 👋@_trickwilliams took matters into his own hands to shut @WesLee_WWE up… 😅#WWENXTpic.twitter.com/uE7zQ1eqOx

— Despite having some moments lately where she’s been going down a more “angry at everyone because she’s losing” mentality, Kelani Jordan was all over this episode to back up Karmen Petrovic and screw over Jaida Parker, as well as to overhear Andre Chase talking to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger about how all tag teams end in heartbreak and they should just split up. Moments later, Kale Dixon (who had been wrestling on NXT Level Up primarily in whatever role he needed to be that week) tried to give Chase a pep talk about how Chase U doesn’t need to be “dead”, which points Dixon might be used as a babyface going forward.

— Even Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson had a very babyface night, talking to Sol Ruca, Zaria, and others in the locker room about how if they beat Bianca Belair and Naomi (who they put over as legends) next week, the women of NXT will all get title opportunities in the future.
"You guys have the opportunity to bring those titles back to NXT."@lashlegendwwe and @JakaraWWE have a chance to flip EVERYTHING on its head next week in Atlanta… 🤔#WWENXTpic.twitter.com/56XLdlcJMH
