The OC Provide Update On AJ Styles' Return, Bully Ray Says WWE Feud Reminds Him Of AEW

Luke Gallows is uncertain whether AJ Styles is ready to return to the ring.

During a recent edition of his “Talk'n Shop” podcast, Gallows mentioned that he hasn’t asked Styles about returning to the ring yet.

Gallows said, "I saw a thing come across my feed yesterday that said Alan Jones, I don't know what he wrestles as now, that he may be ready for a return. I don't know if that's true or not, I haven't asked him."

Karl Anderson added, "I think it's time for an AJ Styles Royal Rumble win."

During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray evaluated the segment featuring Cody Rhodes and CM Punk that closed out last Monday's episode of WWE RAW.

Ray noted that the segment reminded him of AEW and how Tony Khan struggled to manage Rhodes and Punk.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On what happened with Cody Rhodes and CM Punk in AEW: "Cody knew what the hell he was doing and he had a vision for that company when it came to the creativity and the overall perception of what that pro wrestling company should be. Tony [Khan] did not agree. Punk, a very unique personality, a personality that needs to be massaged at times. Maybe sometimes handled with gloves. Maybe not be sold a bill of goods. Whatever it is … But obviously Tony could not make the relationship with Punk work out."

On how Paul Heyman had to deal with big personalities frequently in ECW: "Paul had to find a way to massage all of these personalities and give Taz what he wanted, and Sabu what he wanted. Volatile personalities, combustible at any time, but he found a way. Vince McMahon, same thing. How did Vince McMahon make anything come together in the WWE? He knows how to deal with people."
