Breaking Report – AEW's New TV Deal To Be Announced Next Week, Terms Revealed

A new TV deal between All Elite Wrestling and Warner Bros. Discovery is expected to be announced next week.
Entertainment news outlet Puck has confirmed that WBD's deal with AEW is close to being finalized, and an announcement is likely coming "as soon as next week, barring any last-minute challenges." It’s worth noting that AEW will be in New York City next week for their Grand Slam TV tapings. It is expected that reps from WBD will be in attendance at these TV tapings.
The report adds that the deal is for three years with a fourth-year option. The deal includes shows on TNT, TBS and TruTV. It was added that the broadcasts would be "twice a week" without further explanation and states that a $170 million per year number is "in the ballpark."
Finally, it was added that "AEW is also pitching another package, primarily to broadcast channels."
As we previously reported here on eWn, AEW has been in talks with FOX for a new show, with some believing it has something to do with the recent AEW Shockwave trademark filing.
