AJ Styles Returning To WWE SmackDown Next Friday

As announced on a hype video that aired on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, AJ Styles will be returning on next week’s episode (October 4th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee)!
The Phenomenal One has been missing in action since losing to Cody Rhodes at WWE Clash at the Castle on June 15, 2024.
He did perform at NOAH Destination against Naomichi Marufuji, as well as wrestle eight times against Cody Rhodes on house shows heading into WWE Bash in Berlin, but has been off television for the past three months.
Most recently, there has been speculation over his possible exit from WWE, as his contract is supposedly up sometime late this year or early next year. While nothing one way or another has been confirmed, his return to SmackDown could be a good sign of working out a deal and re-signing with WWE.
