They have a plan for him. There are all kinds of talented stars on the WWE roster and as a result, it can be difficult for any of them to truly stand out. The top stars in the promotion wind up becoming some of the most important names around though and it makes sense for WWE to want to make their appearances important. That is what they are doing with one of the biggest stars they have ever had.

According to Fightful by way of Cagesideseats.com, WWE has intentionally not been advertising Roman Reigns for some television appearances in an effort to surprise the fans. That was the case last week, as Reigns was not advertised for SmackDown but made an appearance anyway. There are some shows where Reigns is advertised in advance and appears as scheduled.

One of the big ones. Check out Reigns’ recent efforts:

Opinion: This is an interesting strategy and ties into the idea of anything being possible on the show. Reigns is as big of a name as WWE has at the moment and it makes sense that they would want him to be a special attraction. There is something to the idea of wanting the fans to not be sure what they are going to be seeing and it certainly appears to be working.

What do you think of the idea? What is next for Reigns after Bad Blood? Let us know in the comments below.
