Darby Allin has been noticeably absent from AEW programming so far in 2025.

Allin hasn’t been seen on AEW since being thrown down a flight of stairs by Jon Moxley. This took place on the final episode of AEW Rampage at the end of 2024. We now have an update regarding his status with the company.

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Allin has been off the road with AEW as he is now in the process of training for his climb of Mt. Everest. The former multi-time TNT Champion isn’t expected back for months.

Sapp states while Allin isn’t expected back in AEW until the Spring, he is slated for a push upon his return.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Darby Allin’s AEW status as it becomes available.
