The IWGP Tag Team Championship will be defended at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling officially announced that the Young Bucks will challenge for the IWGP Tag Team Championship at the Tokyo Dome on January 5. The Young Bucks said that they wanted a title shot, and NJPW has confirmed the match. Great-O-Khan and HENARE currently hold the gold, but they are set to defend the titles at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 the day before Wrestle Dynasty. They will face the World Tag League Winners.
