With UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs Brady being a rather lackluster event, it was left to the 'Dirty Boxing Championship' to deliver your weekend fight fix.

The first 'official' event of the DBX promotion went off without a hitch, with enormous stoppage victories scored by former UFC fighters Andrei Arlovski and Yoel Romero.

DBX1 also attracted a whole host of well-known names, including streamer Adin Ross, who teased a potential move into influencer-focused combat sports promotion at the event.

Adin Ross attends Dirty Boxing Championship's first 'official' event

Controversial Kick streamer Adin Ross attended 'Dirty Boxing Championship 1' last night in Miami, Florida, and briefly spoke to Danny Segura as he watched the event unfold.

"Man, right now I'm about to watch these two big guys get it on. So far, so cool… I like the atmosphere, it's like a mini boxing event that I'd go to in Vegas – it's awesome so far, the atmosphere and the energy is great. Amazing."

Given the rise of influencer boxing in recent years and the fact that Ross remains one of the biggest names in the industry, does the Kick icon have any desire to step into the ring himself?

"I want to be the next Dana White," laughed Ross in response, admitting that "I don't think I'd see myself ever getting in there [to fight].

"My parents wouldn't let me for one, but for two, I think I'll promote – I'll make the fights, I think that's what I'd do – I don't think I'd get in there though."

Yoel Romero viciously knocks out 6'6 giant in DBX1 main event

Adin Ross' attendance is yet more proof that Dirty Boxing Championship has made a significant impression on combat sports fans since its behind-closed-doors debut in late 2024.

That's partially thanks to its headlining attraction, twice now, being 'The Soldier of God'.

In the main event of DBX1, Yoel Romero got off to his typically slow start, allowing his 6'6" opponent Ras Hylton to run away with the opening two rounds by fighting behind an extended jab.

The former UFC fighter then began to work Hylton's body and by the third round, Romero had warmed up to the sizable task at hand.

With around 30 seconds to go, the Cuban finally found the money shot that he'd been searching for; unloading a cracking right hand that saw Hylton crumble to the ground.

In the co-main event of the DBX1 evening, Andrei Arlovski scored a TKO victory via doctor's stoppage after opening a horrific cut on his opponent, Terrance Hodges.

With its first major event in the bag and a new co-owner in the form of Jon 'Bones' Jones in tow, the future looks incredibly bright for Dirty Boxing Championship.
