Terence Crawford Coach On Rehydration Clause In Canelo Fight

Bomac sat down to speak on a possible Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford super fight.

Bomac, coach of Crawford, is a busy man at the moment as he is also getting Keyshawn Davis ready soon for his first world title shot in professional boxing.

Speaking to Ring Magazine Podcast Bomac mentioned something important on a possible Crawford vs Canelo fight:

“Absolutely. From the moment Terence mentioned wanting that fight, we’ve had no issues with it. We don’t need to rely on any rehydration clauses or excuses. That’s just weak. If you made weight at the weigh-in, that’s all that matters. Once you accept the fight, it’s time to step into the ring and settle it.”

Interesting. Fearless from Bomac.

If Canelo is allowed put on as much weight as he wants after the weigh-in he may outweigh Crawford hugely in the ring on fight night.

The fight is being looked at for super-middleweight — a superhuman and supernatural effort from Crawford if so — if it gets confirmed soon.
