Searching desperately for a Friday win.

The Yankees are in a bit of a free fall, not just losing yesterday, but once again losing in pretty pathetic fashion. It is worth remembering at a time like this the team has a winning percentage equivalent to 103 wins over a whole season, and that this recent awful stretch is the first time all year that they've lost as many as four games in a row. Still, they are playing some wretched baseball, and they'll need to turn it around soon if they want to keep the Orioles from opening up an AL East lead.

On the site today, this morning will see Andrew's recap of Thursday's action from the Yankees' rivals, as well as the results from this week's SB Nation surveys. Later, Sam will continue our trade deadline coverage with a rundown on the players the Athletics could be looking to move, Smith will bring another entry in his Scouting Young Big Leaguers series, this time focusing on Luis Gil, and Madison will deliver the answers to this week's mailbag.

Today's Matchup:

New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Time: 7:07 p.m. ET

TV: YES Network, SportsNet1

Radio: WFAN 660/101.9 FM

Questions/Prompts:

1. What struggling veteran will turn it around first (boy, are there a lot of options to choose from)?

2. Who will have the AL East lead going into the All-Star break?
