NLDS Game 2 open thread: Phillies/Mets & Dodgers/Padres

The Yankees are off after a Game 1 win, so our spotlight turns tonight to the two active NLDS showdowns.
What a day of baseball! The Mets and Phillies played a thriller, the Guardians and Tigers played a laugher, and the Yankees edged out the Royals in a tense Game 1 of the ALDS. The Yankees surely would've loved to play a sharper game in the postseason debut, but a win is a win is a win. They get a day off today before they try to go up 2-0 tomorrow night, with Carlos Rodón matched up against Kansas City ace Cole Ragans.
On the site, we'll of course have plenty more ALDS coverage. I'll go more in depth on the Game 1 victory, while Sara will nominate our player of the game. Jeff will also run through which players fans think the Yankees should start at first base and left field, while John delivers this week's Yankees social media update.
