Let the Division Series party begin!
It's time. The Wild Card Series is over, the victorious Royals have traveled to the Bronx, and everyone's ready for Game 1 of the American League Division Series at Yankee Stadium. I don't even need to do any hyping! It's Gerrit Cole, Juan Soto, and Aaron Judge all playing tonight. Have stars, will travel. Let's go Yankees.
Today on the site, Nick S. will preview the ALDS pitching matchups and Estevão will do a deep dive on how the Kansas City offense stacks up. Madison will be up next with a feature on why Soto and Judge as the Yankees' October stars, Peter will break down a key at-bat for Clarke Schmdit in his final regular-season tune-up, and Sam will remember how the 1999 Yankees opened up their postseason 25 years ago today.
