Uppercut from hell leaves fighter face down after 'one of the scariest KOs' of all time

Marcus Nash left his Fury FC 103 opponent face-down in a jaw-dropping knockout.
Middleweight prospect Marcus Nash made an MMA name for himself with a horrific knockout to kick off Fury FC 103.
Nash and the undefeated Felipe Rocha kicked things off on the Fury FC 103 undercard with a matchup between two of the middleweight division’s brightest young prospects. Nash was looking to bounce back from his first piece of professional adversity after a one-punch knockout in his last fight under the United Fight League banner.
The result? Nash bounced back in one of the wildest ways possible at Rocha’s expense.
Marcus Nash flattens opponent with a wicked uppercut at Fury FC 103
A back-and-forth first round between Nash and Rocha left the judges struggling to determine who got the better of the opening exchanges. Nash’s corner pleaded with their young pupil to show a sense of urgency in Round 2 after a sluggish start with his boxing.
Nash took his corner’s advice to heart and marched Rocha down in the opening seconds of the second round. But his initial punches thrown didn’t land flush as Rocha was able to weave out of Nash’s advances.
But the third time was the charm for Nash as he landed a perfectly-timed right uppercut to Rocha’s chin, snapping Rocha’s head backward and sending the Brazilian collapsing face-first on the canvas.
Fight fans were shocked by Nash’s finish at Fury FC 103.
“Get that man a pillow and a blanket!” one fan wrote on X.
“The sound of that…”
“Turns out keeping your head down and staring at someone’s toes, unable to see incoming strikes isn’t great defense.”
The Fury FC broadcast team was audibly shocked by Nash’s one-punch knockout, as you can see/hear below.

Marcus Nash enters the ‘KO of the Year’ debate
Nash is one of several standout MMA fighters who have further complicated the ‘Knockout of the Year’ debate in 2025. UFC bantamweight vet Ricky Simon knocked Javid Basharat unconscious to snap a three-fight losing streak at UFC Seattle.
On the same card, featherweight phenom Jean Silva knocked out Melsik Baghdasaryan with one punch on the UFC Seattle main card. Silva will return next month against Bryce Mitchell at UFC 314.
But not all knockouts are created equal. At a Cage Warriors event last weekend, Yannick Bahati infuriated fans with a ‘cheap shot’ KO which earned him the fastest finish in the promotion’s history.
Nash is still extremely young in his MMA career and will look to use the momentum from this knockout win in his upcoming fights. If he keeps earning highlight reel finishes, don’t be surprised if he gets an invite to Dana White’s Contender Series.
