Francis Ngannou looks to be in incredible shape ahead of his PFL debut against formidable heavyweight Renan Ferreira this Saturday.

The two man-mountains will collide in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a 'Battle of the Giants' showdown, with Ngannou returning to the octagon for the first time in over two years.

Following his last UFC outing – a points victory over Ciryl Gane – 'The Predator' made his professional boxing debut against Tyson Fury, the WBC world champion at the time.

However, shortly after losing a closely contested split decision to the 'Gypsy King', the 38-year-old suffered a crushing second-round stoppage defeat against Anthony Joshua.

And so, despite admitting that, eventually, he would like to return to the ring, Francis Ngannou will now focus on reigniting his MMA career.

Francis Ngannou mocks fitness YouTuber Will Tennyson

Before leaving the UFC, Ngannou was able to cultivate a fearsome reputation that, in turn, led to him becoming a mainstream star.

After amassing several highlight reel knockouts, the Cameroonian was catapulted into his first world title fight against Stipe Miocic, only to be humbled by the vastly experienced operator.

But then, just over three years later, the pulverizing puncher was given his shot at redemption, which he notoriously took with both hands.

In fact, his second-round stoppage victory over Miocic was largely the catalyst that propelled him into super stardom, with even non-combat sports fans gazing at him in awe.

In preparation for his next outing, though, Ngannou's fame has led him to link up with fitness star Will Tennyson, who boasts over 3m subscribers on YouTube.

After being put through his paces in a grueling session, Tennyson was invited to test his power against the former UFC heavyweight champion.

And yet, as expected, the influencer's punches did very little damage to the chiseled midsection of Ngannou, who responded by saying, "my sister hits harder [than that]."

MMA fans react to Will Tennyson’s punches against Francis Ngannou

While Tennyson is best known for lifting heavy weights in the gym, his strength seemed to have no effect on a predictably unbothered Ngannou.

In response to the social media clip, one fan said: "Those were literally the only punches he's ever thrown in his entire life… truly incredible."

Another added: "How can dude have alot of muscle but can’t throw a punch[?]"

It is perhaps unfair to criticize Tennyson for his punching technique, though, especially when considering the sheer athletic presence of Ngannou.
