Charles Oliveria believes Conor McGregor will never fight again
It’s fair to say Conor McGregor made waves with his appearance at The White House, with combat sports enthusiasts heading to social media to voice their opinions.
Some thought it was great, with one fan saying: “Nobody will transcend Conor McGregor’s popularity in MMA,” while another added: “It’s cool hearing him talk about politics.”
However, others didn’t enjoy it quite so much. An enraged individual tweeted: “He does not speak for us,” while a second exclaimed: “Khabib Nurmagomedov finished Conor in every way.”
Regardless of whether his showing at the White House was positive or negative, his behavior in recent years hasn’t filled Charles Oliveria with much hope that the Dubliner will return to the octagon.
The Brazilian told Oddspedia: “To be honest, I don't know why people are still talking about Conor McGregor. He's done everything he wanted to do in the sport, and now he's choosing to live his life the way he's living it.
“We've been waiting for him to come back, and Michael Chandler has been waiting for about two years and he hasn't shown up. I think fans should forget about Conor McGregor coming back; he's not going to fight again."
