Dodgers 2025 non-roster invitees

The Dodgers began major league camp at Camelback Ranch in Arizona with 24 non-roster players, including 13 pitchers and 11 position players. We'll keep track of additions and subtractions throughout spring training here.

The group is headlined by Roki Sasaki, who is going to start the regular season in the major league rotation. But technically posted as an international amateur, Sasaki had to sign a minor league contract, and chose the Dodgers for a $6.5 million signing bonus. Sasaki was voted the best prospect in baseball at multiplenational outlets, but the five other Dodgers minor leaguers making top-100 lists were all also invited to camp as non-roster invitees.

Six players with major league experience are non-roster invitees, including 33-year-old former closer Giovanny Gallegos and 32-year-old infielder David Bote.

Dodgers camp opens with pitchers and catchers reporting to Camelback Ranch on February 10, and a first full-squad workout on February 15. Cactus League play begins for the Dodgers on February 20.

After getting promoted to Double-A Tulsa last July, Duran had a 3.05 ERA in 11 starts, and finished out the season with a spot start in Oklahoma City in September.

Fernández had a 1.82 ERA in 34 games in relief with Verzcruz in the Mexican League last season. He last pitched in the majors in 2021 with the Rockies.

A former Dodgers minor leaguer who was plucked by the Pirates in the 2022 Rule 5 Draft, Hernandez was traded back to Los Angeles last June, and spent the rest of the season in Triple-A Oklahoma City.
