Travis Kelce Family Member Not Rooting For Him In Super Bowl 59

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will be playing the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 in two weeks.

The Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, topped the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game. The Eagles, led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, blew out the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game. The two teams will now meet at the Caesar's Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana in two weeks.

While Kelce, 35, could be playing in his last game as an NFL player, not everyone in his family will be rooting for him. In fact, one family member will almost assuredly be rooting hard for the Philadelphia Eagles instead.

NFL fans are convinced that's the case.

Travis Kelce's sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, will definitely be rooting hard for the Eagles in Super Bowl 59. She is married to Jason Kelce, who is retired and might actually be rooting for his brother. But Kylie Kelce is the bigger Eagles fan in the family, anyway. 

While Jason Kelce has rocked Chiefs gear at Travis's games, she has refused. Kylie Kelce, who grew up in Pennsylvania and rooted for the Eagles with her family, might even rock Philly gear at Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.

Jason Kelce explained her fandom last year.

"Kylie got some love from the Philadelphia fans for her continued refusal to wear Chiefs gear even though she has personal connections. She just does not want to do it," Jason Kelce said. "I have tried [saying], 'Kylie, we have family in the game, it's okay to cheer on that team. They're not playing the Eagles. You realize this isn't against the Eagles right?' She just refuses. She'll wear other universities but she won't wear other NFL teams."

Kylie Kelce has rocked Cincinnati Bearcats - Travis and Jason's alma mater - gear in the past. But that's been when the Chiefs have been playing against a non-Eagles team. With the Chiefs playing the Eagles in Super Bowl 59, it seems like a certainty that she'll be rocking green and white or black.

Taylor Swift's dad, Scott Swift, also grew up rooting for the Eagles. Could he too rock some Philly gear in the Taylor Swift suite in New Orleans next month?

It's going to be quite the scene at Caesar's Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana in two weeks.

Kickoff at Super Bowl 59 is scheduled for 6 p.m. E.T. on Sunday, February 9.
