The Washington Commanders are figuring out their kicking situation ahead of Saturday's divisional game against the Detroit Lions.

Zane Gonzalez had a full practice on Wednesday after he was limited on Tuesday with a hip injury. Gonzalez was the hero for the Commanders on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when his game-winning 37-yard kick doinked in.

Still, he's battling a small hip injury and it has forced the Commanders to work out some other kickers in case Gonzalez suffers a setback. Aldrick Rosas, Matthew Wright, and Tucker McCann all worked out for the Commanders on Wednesday.

Rosas last played in 2021 for the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions. He appeared in one game for the Lions, making one field goal while appearing in four games with the Saints, making only one out of four field goals.

Before that, he spent one season with the Jacksonville Jaguars and three with the New York Giants. He has made 72-of-91 field goals with a long of 57 during his career.

Wright has kicked for the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Tennessee Titans this season, making 15-of-16 field goals combined with all three teams. He has a long of 50.

He has appeared in 21 games since making his NFL debut in 2020, making 55-of-63 field goals with a long of 59.

McCann has still yet to kick in a regular season game since playing his college football at Missouri.

If Gonzalez has another full practice on Thursday, then he should be good to for Saturday's game. However, if he has a setback, the Commanders would have to consider signing one of the three above kickers.

Kickoff for Saturday's game will be at 8 p.m. ET on FOX. Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady will have the call.
