A changing of the guard is taking place at the White House next week.
The 2025 inauguration is set to take place on Monday afternoon. Will J.D. Vance be in attendance? The Vice President-elect has hinted at attending the College Football Playoff national championship game, featuring his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, instead. But in all likelihood, Vance will be in attendance, while he and Donald Trump get sworn in.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden is set to leave the White House next week.
Ahead of Biden's exit, Barack Obama took to social media to make his thoughts on the outgoing president clear.
He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday afternoon.
"Four years ago, in the middle of a pandemic, we needed a leader with the character to put politics aside and do what was right. That's what @JoeBiden did," Obama wrote.
"At a time when our economy was reeling, he drove what would become the world's strongest recovery – with 17 million new jobs, historic wage gains, and lower health care costs. He passed landmark legislation to rebuild our nation's infrastructure and address the threat of climate change.
"I'm grateful to Joe for his leadership, his friendship, and his lifetime of service to this country we love."

The 2025 inauguration will be an interesting one. Sunday Night Football's Carrie Underwood is set to perform "America The Beautiful," right before Donald Trump gets sworn in.
Then, on Monday night, Ohio State will be taking on Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff national title game.
