Nothing is a better bet to pop off on social media these days than a sorority recruitment dance video.
Sorority recruitment - otherwise known as rush season - takes place in the fall at most schools. It's the time when un-pledged coeds visit the different sororities on campus, hoping to land a bid. There are typically several different themed rounds during the process and only a handful of young women are given offers to the different sororities. Every school's recruitment or rush process is different, but it seems like at most schools, the attempt to go viral on social media is becoming more and more common. So, in an attempt to make their sororities more popular for the rush candidates, young women across college campuses are releasing edited, flushed out dance videos with highly choreographed routines.
They are pretty amazing to watch and, all together, they add up to tens of millions of views across Instagram, TikTok and Twitter.

The college football season highlights will have trouble topping the number of watches these sorority recruitment videos have racked up on social media over the past couple of weeks. Perhaps college football - and NFL - teams should hire these young ladies as consultants to help boost social media engagement during the season.
