Taylor Swift's Godson Banned From Being Alone With Her Mom

Taylor Swift is reportedly trying to keep a low profile this spring, according to reports. On Monday, however, she received unfortunate news regarding her godson.
Swift is currently a godmother to Blake Lively's children as well as Jamie King's younger son, Leo. Roughly 24 hours ago, King received an update on her custody battle with her ex-husband, Kyle Newman.
A judge decided that Newman will have sole physical custody of his children as well as tie-breaking authority over legal custody. This ruling was announced after King failed to complete a six-month rehab program.
Newman claims his kids called him and begged him to pick them up from King's house. When he showed up to her place, she was allegedly on the floor with two men.
"Jaime looked distressed, strung out and was acting drunk," Newman stated in court documents. "She gestured for me to come over to her because she tried to get up but could not stand."
It's not clear what this custody battle will mean for Swift and when she'll be able to visit her godson again.
King has been given visitation rights and can see her sons three times a week in specific hour blocks, but she will have to be supervised while she's around her two boys. Among the list of approved supervisors are the actress' mother, sister and brother-in-law, as well as Newman's brother Kevin.
An addendum to the court order shows that King has to have supervised visitation because she has not completed a 6-month drug/alcohol program, with weekly testing, aftercare, and a 2-step program; a 26-week parenting program; individual counseling to address case issues; and conjoint counseling with minors, when the minors' therapist deems it appropriate.
Swift has not commented on this situation nor do we expect her to.
King and Newman got married in 2007 before filing for divorce in 2020.
