Last year's selection show still has the record with 1.9 million viewers. Women's basketball continues to grow in the United States and the ratings will surely be great during the 2025 women's NCAA Tournament.
UCLA, USC, South Carolina, and Texas are the four No. 1 seeds entering the NCAA Tournament.
JuJu Watkins is trying to bring home a title for USC and has had a tremendous 2024-25 season, averaging 24.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
Even though UConn is a No. 2 seed, it still boasts another one of the top women's players in the country, Paige Bueckers. She's averaging 19 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game.
As long as she's healthy, the Huskies will be a top threat to win it all in March.
UCLA's Lauren Betts is in her second collegiate season and has been dominant this year, averaging 19.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. She even had 81 blocks during the regular season and will look to bring that defense into the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
The first round of the women's NCAA Tournament will start this Friday and continue into Saturday. The second round will take place on Sunday and Monday before the Sweet 16 takes place from March 28-29.
The NCAA Women's National Championship Game will be on April 6.
