Taylor Swift Is Thinking Of Brittany Mahomes After 'Disturbing' Incident

Taylor Swift is thinking of Brittany Mahomes after a "disturbing" incident in Buffalo last weekend.
The Chiefs lost to the Bills, 30-21, at Highmark Stadium in upstate New York last weekend. Kansas City suffered its first loss of the regular season, falling to 9-1 on the year, as Josh Allen and Co. notched a huge win against their AFC rivals. But while the Bills shined on the field, their fan base - the vaunted Bills Mafia - is being accused of "classless" behavior off of it. Some Bills fans hung a Patrick Mahomes-inspired doll from a pole prior to the game kicking off last Sunday.
Brittany Mahomes, the wife of the Chiefs quarterback, was understandably shaken by the scene.
Taylor Swift, who has become close with the Mahomes family, has reached out to Brittany following the disturbing act, to check on her friend.
"Taylor's friends said she and Travis found it incredibly disturbing," an insider exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com. "She has talked to Brittany who was really taken aback."
The doll was Kermit the Frog themed, with a No. 15 Chiefs jersey, clearly meant to resemble Mahomes.
Mahomes, who starred collegiately at Texas Tech, has admitted that he's used to the comparisons - but probably not like how they did it in Buffalo.
"I've gotten used to it, it's like the joke that keeps giving," he said. "I've heard it all, jokes about Kermit the Frog or about smoking cigarettes.
"It's unique, so maybe I'll get a deal from having that unique voice."
Rivalries are fun, but the Bills fans clearly went over the line with this one, no matter how they intended it to come across.
The Chiefs are set to return to the field on Sunday, taking on the Panthers, at 1 p.m. E.T.
The Week 12 NFL game will air on CBS.
