Before Saturday's College GameDay kicked off fans probably wouldn't have been able to guess who the star of the show would be.

Kicking off from Eugene, Oregon ahead of a massive showdown between No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Oregon, the GameDay Crew was missing one person. Fans of college football were missing the legendary Lee Corso, but one actress made up for it - with a little help from the Oregon Duck.

During the early portion of the show, the Duck was spotted holding up a sign that said "Sydney Sweeney call me back." The moment immediately went viral on social media - so much so that Sweeney actually responded.

"Sorry changed my number haha," Sweeney wrote on her Instagram Story.

Not long later, fans started scrolling her Instagram page and one photo stood out. "i think they call this a thirst trap," she said in the caption of the series of photos showing her on a boat with friends.

It's been a busy year for Sweeney, who has starred in multiple hit movies like "Anyone But You", but her biggest honor came when she was named one of Glamour's "Women of the Year."

"I'm beyond grateful and deeply honored to be named one of @glamourmag women of the year. this recognition means the world to me, and I owe it to the incredible people who have supported me along the way. thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me during this journey. here's to breaking boundaries and creating a brighter future for all women. we kinda rock!" she said.
