Source Close To Travis Kelce Addresses Taylor Swift Engagement Rumors

Are Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift engaged? That appears to be the most popular rumor floating around on social media this week. 

A few days ago, photos of Kelce and Swift having fun at an Eras Tour-themed party surfaced online. Fans noticed that Swift was flashing her left hand in a picture with Brittany Mahomes. Initially, people didn't think much about it. Everything changed once an Instagram user questioned if the Grammy Award winner blurred out her ring finger. Instead of waiting for confirmation, people started speculating about a surprise engagement. 

On Thursday night, Daily Mail provided an update on this story. According to a source close to Kelce and Swift, an engagement has not yet happened. That being said, the star-studded couple is apparently amused by all the rumors.   

"He does read some of these stories because it cannot be avoided," the insider told Daily Mail. "And he finds some of it hilarious because he knows how much the world wants this to happen. At times it can be overwhelming for him...His family jokes with him about a wedding and pits him up against his brother whose wife is already popping out more babies." 

As for when an engagement could happen, that's still a bit unclear. Another insider claims that it'll be a private moment despite how public their lives might be. 

"When the time comes, people will know about it. But they are going to keep some things private and will have elaborate plans in place to ensure secrecy," a second source told Daily Mail. "They are not worried about those close to them leaking info because people who know them respect this. When and if Travis does make this happen it will be for Taylor and for Taylor only."

This report should end all the speculation about Kelce and Swift's relationship. Well, at least for now. 

Over the past few months, Kelce and Swift have dealt with plenty of rumors. Heck, there was a time where people thought their whole romance was a hoax. 

While it's nice to see Kelce and Swift handle every situation with grace, we can't imagine how frustrating it must be for them. If an engagement is meant to be, it'll happen. Fans shouldn't be pressuring these two stars into anything.
