Russell Wilson Doesn't Hold Back On George Pickens After Week 18

The Pittsburgh Steelers offense simply wasn't there in Week 18's regular season finale vs. the Bengals.
One of the biggest reasons was Russell Wilson's failure to connect with No. 1 receiver George Pickens, who caught just one pass for 0 yards with three drops on the night.
The duo also missed on a fourth quarter deep ball that could've changed the outlook of the game.
Afterwards, Pickens could be seen jawing with fans behind the team's bench as boos rang out from Acrisure Stadium. But Russ is staying true to his belief that it was just a one off game and that last year's 1,000-yard receiver will be there when Pittsburgh needs him most.
"I believe in George," Wilson said, via Steelers reporter Chris Adamski. "I believe in who he is, the player he is. He's been a star for us all season. You know, he's going to be a difference maker for us in the playoffs obviously, and I'm looking forward to that and what he can do — what we can do together. I'm not blinking on George. If anyone believes in him, I definitely do."
It was certainly a night to forget for Pickens and the entirety of Pittsburgh's offense, but they still have a chance to right the ship once the postseason gets started.
The Steelers are likely looking at a first-round matchup with a familiar foe in Baltimore but that will hinge on whether or not the Los Angeles Chargers beat the Raiders on Sunday.
Pittsburgh has not won a playoff game under Mike Tomlin since 2016. They'll be hoping to end that unfortunate streak this year.
